Kicking off Christmas: Deck the Halls Celebration Dec. 3, RSVP to the Dec. 10 Pageant and more!

Hi All!

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas! 
There are many Christmas programs, events and service opportunites to join in on! CLICK HERE for a full List Mark your calendars!  Most importantly - if you have not done so yet, it's time to RSVP if your child will be participating in the Christmas Pageant happening on December 10, with a rehearsal on December 9.

"Deck the Halls" ALL CHURCH ADVENT CELEBRATION
Sunday, December 3 from 2 - 4 p.m.
Get into the Christmas spirit by making homemade ornaments and crafts! We'll have snacks, decorate the church Christmas Tree, sing carols and hear a special story.  A fun time for the whole family so save the date!  

Help needed: If you can bring a finger food dessert or appetizer - please let me know. 

 

CHRISTMAS PAGEANT - The Pageant is during the 12/10 Worship Service, Rehearsal on Saturday, 12/9 at 9 a.m.    RSVP please to be in the Pageant by CLICKING HERE. It will help me stay organized with the costumes!!

All are welcome to join the Pageant - friends are welcome to join us, too!  Pageant Sunday is a special service and the kids will share the very first Christmas in story and song! Preschoolers will be the angels, K/1st graders the animals, 2nd/3rd graders are the shepherds and 4th & 5th graders are the Wise Men!!     

COAT DRIVE for Love-A-Child Mission

We are collecting gently-used coats again for the Love-A-Child Mission - coats for kids, teens and adults!  You can drop off coats at the office anytime between now and Wednesday, 12/13

All-Church COOKIE EXCHANGE
Saturday, December 16 at 10 a.m. in Fellowship Hall

All Church Participation! Bring COOKIES! Exchange COOKIES! Help us make goody boxes for our shut-ins. If you like to bake but not drive– BRING cookies. If you like to drive but not bake– DELIVER cookies. Please contact JoAnn Parker for more information and to RSVP. You can also sign up to bake, deliver or both at the Sunday table

 

New!  Family Christmas Caroling Night
Thursday, December 21 from 6:30—8 p.m.

We’ll walk around the JKPC neighborhood spreading some cheer as we sing favorite Christmas Carols from door to door! Bring a flashlight and a jacket—we’ll be caroling rain or shine! All ages are welcome—kids, teens, adults! We’ll gather back in Fellowship Hall at 7:30 p.m. for some hot chocolate and goodies!
