                                                        Advent Celebration / Lighting of the Christmas Trees
  Sunday, November 28

All are invited to join us on Sunday, November 28 - the First Sunday
of Advent! In addition to the 9:30 a.m. Worship Service, we'll also hold an Advent Celebration/Christmas Tree Lighting event in the afternoon.  Join us at 4 p.m. in Fellowship Hall to make some ornaments and to socialize a bit with light snacks.  Then at 5 p.m. we will go out in front of the church to decorate the trees, and then join in with singing as we officially light the trees!  You are welcome to bring your own weatherproof ornaments and join us right at 5 p.m. outside, too!

JKPC Memory Tree Dedication ~ December 5
These last couple of years have been difficult in that we haven’t been able to gather to celebrate the lives of loved ones who have entered the Church Triumphant.

            The second Sunday of Advent we will dedicate a Memory Tree outdoors after the Worship service. We encourage you to bring an ornament or some other item which we can place on the tree in honor of a loved one who passed away during these last couple of years.

            We want to give people the opportunity to acknowledge the loss of someone they loved and for others in our faith community to offer support. We want to give thanks for those who have moved on and remember the joy they brought us in the Advent seasons before their passing.

            Please join us on December 5 after the Worship service as we decorate a memory tree with ornaments of remembrance.

            If you have any questions please contact the office or Pastor Randy.

The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our refuge.
