“FUNDrive” with Savers to benefit JKPC
Start cleaning closets and setting aside items for Savers event 10/25!
We will be collecting unwanted clothes and small
household items from our JKPC family as well as the wider
community. Savers will pay us a set amount per pound for donations of clothing and household items (no furniture). Organizations
typically will make upwards of $600-$1000. We encourage you to share this event with your neighbors to help us collect more items.
Items accepted:
~Soft Goods in bags: clothing, shoes, accessories, linen
~Housewares in boxes: kitchen items, décor, toys, games, small
appliances. ~ Books and Media in boxes (please separate)

11/14 - Help needed Friday night loading all Savers Items into Truck.

Men’s Poker Night!

Chet Wehe is hosting the Annual Poker Fest at the Wehe house in Castro Valley.
Low key poker, dealer's choice of game, lots of conversation, ten dollar ($10) buy-in. I provide snacks and beer/wine/softdrinks, but if you have a favorite, feel free to bring it along.

Join us for a Lay-led Sunday worship service. Members of JKPC will be asked to speak and each speaker will share a bit of his or her own journey. Others from the congregation will assist in making this Sunday’s service one that will uplift your spirits and deepen your own faith as you walk with our Lord.

“People’s Choice” Music Sunday

This is YOUR chance to choose the music for
Sunday worship!
Our service on Sunday, October 26, will be dedicated to singing your favorite hymns and praise songs! There will be an insert in the bulletin within the next few weeks with a list of songs, and we’re asking everyone to pick their five favorite songs and return the insert to the silver basket in the narthex. We will then take select verses from your choices as part of a congregational sing-along during this special service!
