Laity Sunday, September 15
Join us for a Lay-led Sunday featuring our own Joy Dubey, Diane Engel, and Bob Rickleffs as speakers. Our theme is “Walking in Faith,” and each speaker will share a bit of his or her own journey. Nanette Wehe, will inspire us in song, and others will assist in making this Sunday’s service one that will uplift your spirits and deepen your own faith as you walk with our Lord.
New Adult Sunday School Class
“You Are Never Alone” by Max Lucado
Starting Sunday, September 22, from 11 a.m. - Noon
Each of us longs for Someone who will meet us in the midst of life’s messes. We will be looking at the miracles of Christ as told in the Gospel of John. John went through a lot as a disciple of Christ. He endured trials and suffered persecution from many sides. But as he looked back on his days with Christ – recalling the miracles that he had seen - he understood that Jesus had never truly left his side. He was never alone.
This study by Max Lucado helps us realize that we are each stronger than we think, because God is nearer than we know!
The sessions include:
· God is with you in the ordinary · God is with you when you’re stuck
· God is with you in the storm · God is with you in the dark
· God is with you in the valley · God is with you when you need grace
There is no homework. Each Sunday we will watch a short video and have group discussion. Please join us for all or as many sessions as you can. Hope to see you on the 22nd. Please contact Vickie Wyant with any questions or if you need a ride home!

JKPC will be holding a FreeCycle Swap Meet on Sunday, September 29.
Bring a bag or two of your gently used items to share with others in the morning before church.
No clothing or big furniture please.
You can pick up your items on Sunday night, or off to Savers they go on Monday!
